Upcoming projects

NE&S is the coordinator for writing two upcoming EU-proposals, one for Erasmus+ and one for Creative Europe Programme.

  • EuroVirtuoso aims to create a centralised European platform that aggregates existing Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) exhibitions and tours, serving as a showcase for museums and cultural events. The platform will encourage the creation of immersive experiences by facilitating collaborations between cultural organisations and content creators, fostering innovation in the European cultural sector.
  • Artificial Intelligence augmenting Design and Art (AIaDA). The purpose of the project is to create innovative educational courses in Fine Art and Digital Design, encouraging the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the use of Artificial Intelligence, (AI).
  • The AIaDA project aims to enable education and training to include generative AI, using Virtual Reality, (VR) and Augmented Reality, (AR) as sub-sectors of AI in the curricula within the Visual Arts and Digital Design subject area. A consortium of VET schools, HEI's, WBLP's, IPs' and Associated Partners (AP's) aims to:
  1. Identify future trends for using AI in an ethical and sustainable way in learning and teaching (L&T) in the area Fine Art and Digital Design.

Previous projects

Smart, effective and inclusive investment in education infrastructure

NE&S was subcontracted 2020 as education expert for Sweden for the approved tender proposal from DG EAC and did the research about the Swedish part. The lead company was PPMI from Lithuania (www.ppmi.lt).

InterCultural DesignCamp (ICDC)

ICDC was an innovative collaboration of four European higher education institutions from Belgium, Germany, Scotland and Sweden. All partner universities were specialised in multiple aspects of media design and production. Initiating design to production and distribution of the final products, the ICDC project brought together various areas of expertise to allow participants to familiarise themselves with the vast range of disciplines and work processes involved in media production. Tommie Nyström was the over-all coordinator of the project and Robert Sutter was the coordinator for the University of the West of Scotland.
